The refurbished building of the Rescue Service of Adjara Main Division, the Emergency Situations Management Agency of the MIA is opened in Kobuleti.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Merab Malania, the Deputy Minister, Mr. Zviad Katsashvili, the Director of the Emergency Situations Management Agency and the representatives of Adjara Emergency Situations Management Main Division.
The Agency fully refurbished the old building of the Rescue Service and rehabilitated the infrastructure in the adjusted area. Kobuleti Rescue Division building has been equipped with new, modern inventory and equipment.
The refurbished building will accommodate 15 employees of the rescue unit, including pilots, divers and water rescuers.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs actively proceeds with construction of new buildings and rehabilitation of firefighting-rescuers infrastructure projects throughout Georgia.
