Director of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department Zviad Katsashvili and head of “Children and Youth National Center” Nugzar kevlishvili have signed memorandum on co-operation. The ceremony was held at Rescue Training and Response Base of the mentioned Department. The signing ceremony was held in the attendance of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri and first Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Zurab Azmaiparashvili.
Memorandum is aimed at defining frames of co-operation within the frames of “Young Rescuers’ Club” between MIA Emergency Situations Management Department and “Children and Youth National Center” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. “Young Rescuers’ Club” was founded on the basis of “Children and Youth National Center” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and were trained at Rescue Training and Response Base of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department.
Members of “Young Rescuers’ Club” held demonstrative training for the invited guests and presented cultural program. They will present the mentioned program at international contests scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan and Belarus. Representatives of Georgia will participate in “Young Rescuers” contest for the first time this year.
