On March 10-19 within the frames of co-operation between MIA Emergency Management Department and International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) mountain-rescue training and field training held in Gudauri-Kazbegi sector has completed successfully.
Representatives of rescue-training base of MIA Emergency Management Department and other participants from the Ministry of Emergencies of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Bosnia- Herzegovina, Armenia, Kirgizia and Kazakhstan held the mentioned training jointly.
Training was held according to previously elaborated scenario, one of the hardly-accessible gorges. According to the scenario injured person was supposed to be recovered from the gorge as a result of mountain-rescue operation. Aim of the training was to test the mechanisms of co-operation during emergencies.
