Ministry of Internal Affairs along with the Ministry of Education and Science continues the project –“10 lessons of Security” at public schools.
Within the frames of the project, 108 employees of Patrol Police, Emergency Situations Management Agency and 112 center have undergone special training courses at MIA Academy. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Shalva Khutsishvili handed out certificates to participants of the training.
Trained MIA employees will hold 10 lessons of security to fifth graders at public schools across the country and teach them safety norms during emergency situations, earthquakes, fire, flood, car accident and other emergencies.
Book of instructions specially published for the program by the Ministry of Internal Affairs delivers information on the understandable language to children regarding security issues. The book also include rules of behavior in society that will raise civil awareness of the teenager on how become a law-abiding citizen.
The project is being implemented across the country for 2 years. The aim of long-term project is to prevent juvenile crime and raise awareness on the issues of law and security.
