European championship 2017 in judo was held in Warsaw and ended with the national anthem of Georgia.
Members of the MIA sport club – Guram Tushishvili and Adam Oqruashvili have become the owner of Europe’s strongest judo title. After the successful participation, Georgian sportsmen met each other in the final game. Guram Tushishvili gained gold medal, while Adam Oqruashvili took the silver medal.
Sportsmen of the MIA sport club will also compete on European championship in the national team of Georgia.
Sport club of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Fighter” was founded in May of 2014 with the support of the Security Police Department.
Ministry of Internal Affairs actively supports Georgia sport and healthy lifestyle. Members of the MIA sport club are the winners of the various international tournaments.
