Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the frames of “Cooperation in the Police Sphere for Eastern Partnership States” visited Lithuania. Within the frames of the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the National Police of Lithuania, Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor’s office. At the meeting sides discussed forms of operative and non-operative cooperation, functions of the liaison officer, issues of the international police cooperation and reviewed future cooperation plans.

The mentioned program is being implemented since 2014 which is aimed to enhance relations and cooperation between EU and Eastern Partnership states as well as sharing experience, harmonization and standardization in the police matters.
