Representatives of Belgian Federal Police from Criminal Analysis body are visiting MIA for 3 days in order to introduce the Belgian model of Intelligence-led policing practice to respective MIA units.
Analysis-led policing is the model of a contemporary police activities widely applied by the world leading law enforcement structures; such model supports the reduction of crime, its prevention as well as it increases the effectiveness of the investigation. Strengthening of analytical work and implementation of early risk assessment system represents a recommendation to MIA given by European Commission within the framework of visa-liberalization action plan, and given meeting will encourage its effective implementation in practice subsequently. Participants from MIA respective units will assist the implementation of given policing practice model in their agencies.
Within the framework of the event, the experts will also visit police units and will get known to specifics of analytical work conducted within investigation process by MIA.
