Presentation of joint documentary film – “Lost History” prepared by the MIA Archive and Public Broadcaster was held at MIA Police Academy, which was attended by the high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, leadership of Public Broadcaster, historians, explorers and other invited guests.
Film portrays criminal cases recorded and stored at MIA Archive, as well as the story of Security archive, which was transferred and destroyed in Smolensk. Film also depicts 90’s of the past century, when most part of the security archive documents on criminal cases and lists of secret operative agents were destructed, burnt or lost.
Films also portrays story of transmission of secret documents on writers and public figures to the Museum of Literature, which was an important, historic step.
