The officers of Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities exposed and detained the specialist of the local municipality of Toloshi and Atskvita villages Valiko Ivanidze on the fact of bribery.
Investigation established that Vaaliko Ivanidze, while fulfilling his professional duties, made forged certificate which contained incorrect data on the amount of timer and in return received 600 GEL as a bribe.
The received sum was seized by the law enforcers as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, I part of the Criminal Code. The committed crime envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
