By initiative of the Academy of MIA Professor of the German University Joachim Kersten and Professor of London School of Economics Maurice Punch read public lecture on the topic “Police Systems and Migrations Crisis in Europe”. The event was attended by the students of the Academy and students from up to ten universities as well as employees of different units of the MIA.
At the lecture the Professor Maurice Punch focused on different model of policing systems, while Professor Joachim Kersten on the example of Germany talked about the problems related to migration, health care, education, cultural traditions and gender specifics.
Also, at the Academy the foreign professors held working meeting on the topic “Police Systems and Accountability”. The professors shared their experience in the field of police systems. The event was interactive, thus it was held in questions-and-answers mode.
The working meeting was participated by the employees of the Academy, the International Relations Department, the Legal Department and employees of the Reforms and Development Agency of MIA.
