At MIA Academy the training was held on the second line inspection and expertise involving patrol police officers employed at border crossing points. The training was held within the frames of “Enhancing Capabilities of Georgian Government in the field of Border and Migration Management” project which is funded by the EU and implemented by International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Training included both practical and theory classes which were led by the experts from Netherland. The training was aimed at exposing fake documents and boosting qualification skills in the field of second line inspection. By the end of the course closing the representative of the International Organization for Migration Marc Richmond and Director of the Patrol Police Department Goga Razmadze handed out certificates to the participants of the training.
