The Sixteenth Meeting of the State Commission Supporting Suppression of Distributing New Psychoactive Substances was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The Commission consists of the representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs and Ministry of Finance of Georgia. At the meeting the agencies within their competences provided information on new psychoactive substances and noticed that in comparison with the last quarter the situation related to the circulation of the mentioned substances is stable.
Upon enactment of the Law of Georgia on “New Psychoactive Substances" the State Commission conducts regular, monthly meetings and ensures constant monitoring over challenges related to new psychoactive substances.
The members of the Commission also discussed the issues related to the quarterly report and the world`s modern trends related to new psychoactive substances.
