Students from Tbilisi University of Humanities visited MIA Police Academy. They were met by the Rector of MIA Police Academy Nukri Gelashvili. Visit had an introductory character which aims at raising awareness on law and preventing crime.
Representatives of MIA Academy shared their professional experience with students, who made special emphasis on certain issues that were interesting for them; in particular students were interested in procedures required for new staff recruitment and on study methods at Police Academy.
During the visit at the Academy students got familiarized with methods of training necessary for police officers and attended presentation on the topic of “Process of studies at the Academy”. After the presentation students viewed Infrastructure of the academy, study rooms, gym, mock jury court, mock border checkpoint, imitated and real shooting ranges.
