The officers of Ajara Regional Police, Ajara division of Patrol Police Department, Ajara division of Central Criminal Police Department, regional division of Special Tasks Department and regional division of Security Police donated blood for children suffering from Leukemia within the frames of “Donate Blood Save Life” project.
Ministry of Internal Affairs has been donating blood already for two years. Officers of various units of police donate blood with the assistance of Blood Bank of Iashsvili Clinic.
MIA units all across the country as well as units located in the capital donate blood for children on the regular basis. By participation in the project Ministry of Internal Affairs is aimed at providing children with leukemia with blood supplies and blood components.
