Members of the committee for prevention and effective response to Domestic Violence held meeting with representatives of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division, officials of Kvemo Kartli Regional units of Patrol Police and Deputy Governor in Rustavi. At the meeting issues like: amendments to the legislation, as well as implemented campaigns and activities in 2014 were discussed. Participants reviewed practical drawbacks which exist with regard to implementation of the legislative mechanisms. The meeting was aimed at promoting the implementation of the changes in practice and practical recommendations Participants exchanged plans for promoting gender equality and cooperation.
