The officers of Senaki police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained members of the criminal froup for armed assault committed in group. Detainees are as follows: previously convicted Revaz Ch. (DoB 1992), previously convicted Giorgi Ch. (DoB 1987), Levan J. (DoB 1991), Lasha J. (DoB 1989), previously convicted Imeda T. (DoB 1968).
Investigation established that on September 20 detainees attacked the family of Guram Sh. residing in Potskho village and appropriated 200 kg nuts as well as personal items and household appliances.
During the personal search of the detainees policemen seized 2 cut guns, 10 bullets, revolver with 5 bullets, “Goldstar 2002” pistol with one bullet and 4 masks.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed assault committed by the group and illegal purchase keeping and carrying of firearms, article 179, II part, sub-paragraph B, III part, sub-paragraph B and article 236, I and III parts.
