At the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia annual Donor Coordination Meeting was organized and held. Opening remark was made by the Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mghebrishvili. Reforms, implemented projects and achievements were presented at the conference. Donors were given information regarding needs analyses of the different MIA units. Needs are derived from short-term and long-term priorities of the Ministry and different international obligations.
The meeting was attended by the deputy ministers Archil Talakvadze and Shalva Khutsishvili, deputy chief of the embassy of the USA Nicholas Berlineri, deputy chief of the EU mission, representatives of the International EU member states and nongovernmental Organization and relevant representatives Government of Georgia.
At the end of the meeting the minister Giorgi Mghebrishvili expressed gratitude towards the diplomatic missions, international and non- governmental organizations for playing crucial role in implementation of projects.
