The officers of Vake-Saburtalo poice division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained member of the “Free Zone” Parnaoz Tch. for hooliganism committed in group.
According to the details of investigation the mentioned person along with his others physically assaulted Journalist of Asaval-Dasavali newspaper Zaza Davitaia on the basis of conflict. The incident took place on the crossroads of Bulachauri and Iosebidze Streets.
Patrol Police crew approached the place of incident and was in the process of informing criminal police officer regarding the fact, when patrol inspectors were verbally and physically assaulted by Davit G. Thus he was detained under the article 353 and 187 for offering resistance to the police and damaging others object on purpose.
Person accused of beating Zaza Davitaia, he was detained by the law enforcers in several hours after the incident. In order to identify and detain others involved in the incident operative activities are being held at the moment.
Investigation on the fact of beating Zaza Davaitaia is in progress under the article 239, II part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed in group).
