The officers of the investigative division under the Patrol Police Department detained T.T. (DoB 1994) who was involved in the car accident that took place on Aghmashenebeli alley on March 22.
As a result of transport-technical and trace expertise as well as forensic-medical and drug expertise held within the frames of investigation it was established that BMW made vehicle owned by T.T. was moving on a high speed, thus violating the rules of traffic movement. As a result he crashed into another BMW made vehicle, moving in the opposite line owning to which the driver of the second vehicle G.M. (DoB 1992) failed to control the wheel and crashed into two pedestrians- N.O. (DoB 1972) and M.J. (DoB 2008) who were standing on the side-walk. As a result of the crash the under aged M.G. (DoB 2008) died at the place of incident while N.O. was placed at the treating facility with severe injuries, her health still being critical at the moment.
T.T. was detained by Patrol Police officers, on the basis of the proper decision of the court.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of Violation of Traffic Safety or Maintenance Rule, causing the death of severe health injury - article 276, III and V parts of the Criminal Code.
