The officers of the Division Combating Criminals of the Main Division Combating Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA as a result of the investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information detained Davit D. (D.o.B.: 1989) in Tbilisi, Senaki street for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition.
During the search of the house of Davit D. the law enforcers seized “AKM” model unregistered automatic firearm, “Makarov” system 3 pistols, 1 handmade revolver and 82 bullets. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition (article 236, part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
