The officers of Senaki Regional Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department as a result of the operative-investigative activities detained Nugzar Ch. (DoB 1957) in Senaki for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the search of the flat of a detainee the law enforcers seized AKS automatic weapon, 1 cartridges and 30 bullets. Nugzar Ch. already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition (Article 236, part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
