The Service Agency of the MIA held the presentation in connection with its 9th anniversary. The event was participated by Mr. Giorgi Mgebrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Deputy Ministers, the Directors of the Departments and the representatives of the Government Administration.
Mr. Giorgi Mgebrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated the staff of the Agency with the anniversary; he thanked for the services rendered by the Agency and promised full support in implementation of the planned projects. The Minister of Internal Affairs awarded six distinguished employees of the Agency with pre-term ranks, breastplate and letters of commendation.
At the presentation the Director of the Service Agency Mr. Davit Nikoleishvili talked about the projects implemented and planned by the Agency. Within the terms of the projects implemented in the last year a special attention was paid to the introduction of tests in knowledge of the rules of weapons turnover and issuing the domestic transit numbers to the vehicles. Director of the Agency presented to the invited guests the infrastructure, technological, educational and social projects planned for implementation in 2016.
As the Director mentioned, according to the last year’s statistical data, more and more people benefit from the Agency’s constantly improving and customer-oriented service every year. In 2015 the Service Agency carried out 1 106 838 operations. The customers are offered the remote service in order to facilitate servicing and simplify information reception process. The web portal of the Agency has 138 092 registered users, who use the electronic services offered by the Agency; only last year over 50 thousand customers used the online service; much greater is the number of users who use the information linked in the official site of the Agency. In the Telephone Service Center our employees received more than 82 thousand calls and provided the civilians with detailed information.
At the event Ms. Nino Kobakhidze, the Deputy Head of Government Administration and Ms. Mariam Jashi, the Head of the “Solidarity Fund” expressed their gratitude to the Service Agency for implementation of social projects. Mr. David Nikoleishvili and Ms. Mariam Jashi delivered a Letter of Condemnation and symbolic gift to the citizen who made the biggest contribution in money via the Agency.
Within the terms of the event the Service Agency organized the photos and visual materials exhibition associated with the Agency’s activities to the guests.
