The officers of Martvili police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department as a result of operative-ivestigaive activities detained M.P. (DoB 1965) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the search activities held in detainee’s house located in salkhino village, policemen seized AKM automatic weapon with 2 cartridges and 235 bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, Ii part of the Criminal Code.
