The officers of Mestia police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Kh.Ts. (DoB 1977) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition.
During the search activities held in detainee’s house policemen seized AK-24 automatic weapon with 2 magazines and 14 bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition, article 236, II part of the Criminal Code.
