The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department along with Imereti, racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted G.K. (DoB 1989) in Kutaisi for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of the firearms and ammunition.
During the personal search and searching activities held in detainee’s apartment law enforcers seized unregistered Makarov and Nagan pistols as well as revolver and 33 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of the firearms and ammunition, article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code.
