The officers of Gori police division of Shida Kartli police department, as a result of investigative-searching activities held on the basis of the operative information detained G.G. (DoB 1982) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the search activities held in detainee’s house policemen seized 2 unregistered firearms- handmade revolver and Makarov pistol with 14 bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, II part of the criminal Code.
