The officers of Kareli police division of Shida Kartli Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted and currently on probationary sentence, Tengiz A. (DoB 1987) for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm.
During the personal search of the detainee, law enfrcers seized AKC74 automatic weapon with two cartridges and 56 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, article 236, I and II parts which envisages from 3 to 5 years of imprisonment.
