The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Giorgi K. (DoB 1993) for illegal carrying of firearms while previously convicted Avtandil K. was detained for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms. During the personal search of Giorgi K. policemen seized Girsan pistol with one cartridge and 15 bullets. While during searching activities held in Avtandil K’ s vehicle law enforcers seized Makarov Type pistol with one cartridge and 9 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and ammunition, article 236, III part of the Criminal Code.
