The officers of Kobuleti division of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted Lasha G. (DoB 1977), two times convicted in Zviad Q. (1992) Archil Sh. (DoB 1987) and Jaba Z. (DoB 1992) for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of illegal firearms.
Law enforcers detained the mentioned person in the vehicles owned by one of the detainee’s in Kobuleti, namely on Freedom Street. During the personal search law enforcers seized: cut gun, F-1 hand grenade and two pistols. Policemen also seized 15 bullets of various sizes.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of illegal firearms.
