The officers of Vake-saburtalo police division along with Didube-Chughureti police division as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained Levan Q. (DoB 1987) for armed assault.
Investigation established that on December 20 detainee assaulted GPC drug store, appropriated up to 700 GEL and fled from the place of crime. It was also established that on December 18 Levan Q. also assaulted supermarket located on Vani Sreet and appropriated up to 100 GEL under the pressure of the firearm.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house law enforcers seized the weapon of crime as evidence. He has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed assault, article 179, I part of the Criminal Code.
