The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities brought to justice Vasil Q. (DoB 1992) and Raindi K. (DoB 1983) for illegally obtaining and keeping computer data, illegal access to the social network, illegal production of the so called “fisher”, illegal access to the “facebook” profiles and adding users to various closed groups.
Investigation established that in February of the current year Vasil Q. created a web page- htt://facebook-photos.ga/gggg44 similar to “Facebook” in order to access computer system illegally and obtaining information. After the mentioned, Vasil Q. posted various types of information in the social network and provided the link of the web page earlier created by him. Interested users found themselves on the fake page created Vasil Q. by clicking the provided link, where additional authorization was needed.
After the authorization password of the “Facebook” user was automatically sent to the web hosting created by Vasil Q. and stored in specially made folder. In the course of investigation user names and passwords have been detected in the mentioned files. By means of the obtained passwords and usernames Vasil Q. illegally penetrated “Facebook” accounts and added them to various closed groups.
Investigation also established that Raindi K. also illegally penetrated “Facebook’ accounts and changed users’ passwords and posted adds from their profiles and received certain amount of cash from those who ordered the add. During the searching activities of the apartment owned by Raindi K. policemen detected “Facebook” usernames and passwords obtained as a result of the illegal activities.
At this moment “Facebook” passwords are being returned to the legal owners.
Investigation is in progress under the article284, I part, article 158, I part, article 285 I part and article 286 III part, sub-paragraph C envisaged by the Criminal Code.
