At the Ministry of Internal Affairs winners were revealed within the frames of the social campaign “Fasten the Seatbelt “. The event was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, Director of Patrol Police Department Davit Tsinaridze, his Deputy Levan Matchavariani, experts –Shalva Ogbaidze, Davit Meskhishvili and famous pubic figures who participated in the campaign.
In order to raise awareness on road safety, the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched social campaign –“Fasten the Seatbelt”. Video specially made within the frames of the mentioned campaign was aired by TV channels and presented at “Amirani” and “Rustaveli” cinemas. Public figures involved in the video called on citizens to follow safety rules and use the seatbelt.
Within the frames of the campaign, Ministry announced contest, according to which contestants were supposed to create slogan, design and take the photo and upload their material on “Fasten the Seatbelt” Facebook page.
Most part of the society got involved in the campaign. As a result of the contest three winners were revealed: Giorgi Jobava- for best photo, Davit Kaishauri-for best slogan and Lasha Monaselidze-for best design. Ministry of Internal Affairs awarded the winners with Iphone 5.
