The officers of Anti-corruption Agency as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities exposed interim head of Architecture and construction service of Poty City Hall- Nugzar Tughushi for official duty negligence, while Gela D. was exposed and detained for robbery.
Investigation established that Nugzar Tughushi has concluded agreement on the state procurement in August of 2012 and fulfilled his duties with negligence, in particular failed to monitor the fulfilment of conditions stated in the agreement, enabling Gela D. to appropriate state property. Physical damage caused to the state amounted 36 203 58 GEL.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of neglecting official duties and robbery, articles 342, I part and article 177, II part, sub-paragraph A and part III, sub-paragraph B of the Criminal Code. The committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
