Officers of Zugdidi polide division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department detained K.T. (DoB 1957) based on the decision of Zugdidi court, under the article 163 (Interference into Works of Election or Referendum Commission).
Ministry of Internal Affairs also detained G.M. (DoB 1962) in connection with the incident that took place at N79 polling station. He was detained several hours later after the incident took place.
In connection with both cases investigation is still in progress. At this moment intensive operative-investigative measures are being carried out.
