Rustavi police division of Kvemo Kartli police department of MIA, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained B.U. (DoB 1966) and E.T. (DoB 1966) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
Law enforcers detained the mentioned persons when they were driving a vehicle. During the personal search law enforcers seized Kalashnikov automatic weapon with a magazine and 4 bullets. Havig conducted search of the vehicle policemen seized a cut gun, 2 bullets and hand gloves.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code.
