The officers of Ozurgeti police division of Guria Regional Main Division as a result of immediate operative-searching activities detained previously convicted and currently on probation Mikheil K. (DoB 1982) for stealing.
Investigation established that detainee illegally penetrated one of the rooms of “Olymp” hotel located in Shekvetili settlement and stole Samsung made mobile phone owned by a certain citizen. Two hours later the same person stole another mobile phone from “Guria Palace” hotel and left the crime scene.
Law enforcers detained Mikheil K. as a result of immediate operative-searching activities several hours later. During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized the stolen mobile phones as evidences. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing, article 177, II part, sub-paragraph A and part III sub-paragraph C of the Criminal Code.
