The officers of the Division for Combat Criminality of the Main Division for Combat Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA as a result of the investigative measures based on operative information detained for attempted theft four individuals, in particular: Davit O. (D.o.B.: 1983), previously convicted, currently under being probation sentence; Meloris B. (D.o.B.: 1975), previously convicted, currently being under probation sentence; Gocha Z. (D.o.B.: 1975), previously convicted, currently being under probation sentence and Data P. (D.o.B.: 1990).
Law enforcers detained the accused in Tbilisi, in the house of V.Sh. when they were stealing money. Police seized 15225 GEL and 740 USD as evidences belonging to V.Sh. during personal search of Meloris B.
Investigation is underway on the fact of attempted theft with a prior agreement by a group (article 19-177, III part, sub clauses ‘a” and “c”; sub clause “b” of the part IV of the same article, Criminal Code of Georgia).
