The officers of Batumi police division of Achara Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Turkish citizens Metin A. (DoB 1968) for providing lodging to prostitution and Tamer I. (DoB 1983) for assistance in providing lodging to prostitution. Both of the mentioned persons were detained in Batumi.
Investigation established that detainees provided lodging to prostitution at the hotel and club temporary owned by them. In exchange for the mentioned service detainees received cash. Law enforcers already questioned female workers of the hotel and club.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of providing lodging to prostitution, article 254 and 25-254 article of the Criminal Code.
