The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of searching-investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Turish citizen Savash E. (DoB 1990) in Batumi for providing lodging to prostitution.
Investigation established that detainee provided lodging to females for prostitution purposes at temporarily owned hotel “Denizi” located on Airport highway in exchange for certain amount of cash. It was also ascertained that Savash E. brought females of various age from abroad for prostitution to Georgia. Law enforcers already interrogated female employees of the restaurant and the hotel located in the mentioned building.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of providing lodging to prostitution, article 254 of the Criminal Code.
