The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained E.I. (DoB 1958) for purchase and keeping of drugs in Varketili, while E.Q. was taken under arrest in Ponitchala for selling drugs.
During the personal search of E.I. and search held in his house, law enforcers seized 19 packages of drug substance, while as a result of the personal search of E.Q. and search activities held in his house, policemen seized 36 packages of drugs, which will undergo relevant expertise.
Investigation established that E.Q. sold drugs on the regular basis. Police also seized 2 packages of heroin sold by the detainee to a certain citizen.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs, article 260, I and IV parts of the Criminal Code.
