The officers of the Main Division for Combat Illegal Circulation of Drugs of the Central Criminal Police Department and Tbilisi Patrol Police as a result of joint operative-searching and investigative activities detained Aleksandre B. (DoB 1992) in Tbilisi, in the vicinity of Kakheti highway for illegal purchase and storage of drugs in particularly large quantities.
As a result of searching activities held in detainee’s vehicle police seized 10 pills of “Methadone” and 42 packs of narcotic means, which according to the result of expertise contains 5,9226 gr of heroin.
Drug test also revealed the fact of abusing of marijuana by the detainee.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illicit purchase and storage of drugs in particularly large quantities (article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
