The officers of the Ozurgeti District Division of Guria Police Department, the MIA as a result of investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information detained Lasha D. (D.o.B.: 1992) and Davit L. (D.o.B.: 1992) for membership of criminal underworld and illegal purchase-storage-carrying of firearm.
The accused were detained in the night in Ozurgeti region when they - equipped with arm – were walking around in Natanebi village. Police seized the evidences during personal search of the accused, in particular a cut hunting gun, s.c. “Abrez” with 2 cartridges from Lasha D and a cut single-barrelled hunting gun s.c. “Abrez” with 1 cartridge from Davit L.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of membership of the criminal underworld and illegal purchase-storage-carrying of firearm (I part of the article 2231 and the II part of the article 236, the Criminal Code of Georgia).
