The officers of Detectives division of Tbilisi Police Main Division along with Gldani-Nadzaladevi police division as a result of the jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained Shota M. (DoB 1955) in Tbilisi for committing murder under the aggravated circumstances.
Investigation established that as a result of the conflict detainee inflicted lethal injury with a pistol registered on his name in chest area to his neighbors – Nugzar A. (DoB 1969) and Revaz B. (DoB 1952). Afterwards detainee fled frorm the place of crime. The wounded victims died at the place of crime due to the received injuries.
Law enforcers managed to detain Shota M. several hours later after the crime took place. The weapon of crime was seized from the place of crime as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of murder under the aggravated circumstances, article 109 of the Criminal Code.
