The officers of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Mukhtar A. (DoB 1939) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on September 11 resident of Godak-dagi village Mukhtar A. inflicted two injuries with a hunting rifle to his neighbor Jangir O. (DoB 1938). Due to the received inuries Jangir O. died in several hours after he was transferred to the hospital. Investigation also ascertained that Mukhtar A. has a disagreement with the deceased person over the land area in the past. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
