The officers of Lagodekhi police devision of Kakheti regional main division, as a result of operative activities, detained previously convicted for attempted murder Ambako T. (DoB 1989) in Baisubani village for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and armament.
During the searching activities of the house of the detainee the law enforcers seized “AKM” automatic weapon with one cartridge and 10 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and armaments, article 236, II part of the Criminal Code that envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
