The officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Patrol Police Departments, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information, have uncovered 38 facts of illegal cutting of bushes and plants and transportation without legal documents article 128 (3).
From the vehicles of the exposed persons law enforcers seized: iegally cut wood without official documentation, Borjomi- illegally cut wood stumps. Policemen also seized illegally cut tree stumps from wood processing mills located in Akhaltsiskhe and Borjomi. The relevant expertise is scheduled to be held.
Investigation is in progress under the article 303, I part of the Criminal Code, article 286 of the Tax Code of Georgia and article 128 (3) of the Code of Administrative Offences.
