The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained three individuals for illegal production and using of forged documents, in particular: Naira V. (DoB 1954) Margalita M. (DoB 1952) and Tina L. (DoB 1954) while Gocha M. (DoB 1963) residing in Greece was exposed in connection with the abaove mentioned crime.
Investigation established that Nairaa V. and Margalita M. purchased forged residence permit from Tina L. in Georgia. Law enforcers also ascertained that Tina L. received forged documents from Gocha M. with the purpose of further realization.
Law enforcers detained Naira V. and Margalita M. at Tbilisi International Airport in the attempt to leave the country by means of the forged ID documents to the direction of Italy.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal production and using of forged documents, article 362, I part of the Criminal Code, envisaging from 1 to 3 years of imprisonment.
