The officers of Kakheti Police Department along with Kakheti division of Patrol Police Department, as a result of operative-investigative activities, have exposed 19 persons from 1-11 September period for illegal cutting of bushes and plants and another person was exposed for the violation of the regulations of wood processing mill.
From the vehicles of the exposed persons law enforcers seized wood planks and logs. Policemen also locked down illegal wood processing mill in Afeni village, Lagodekhi and seized timber processing plant as well as a variety of wood materials.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal cutting of bushes and pants, article 303, I part of the Criminal Code.
