Emergency Response Center “112” representatives visited New York headquarters of “911” center.
Within the frames of the visit, members of the Emergency Response Center “112” visited “911” center of New York, Office of Emergency Management, New York City Fire Department, Northwell Health, EMS and got familiarized with the work process.
Representatives of Emergency Response Center “112” had an opportunity to be familiarized with the daily work routine of “911” dispatcher/operators. They also attended the call reception and processing of the received notification.
Within the frames of the visit, representatives of the Emergency Response Center “112” have also tackled issues related to the emergency situations, namely: determining priorities and location, effective management of resources required for emergency assistance, outcome of the false and unreasonable calls and elaboration of relevant sanctions in this regard.
Emergency Response Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the analog of the Uited States “911” call center.
