The officers of the Police Department of Adjara Autonomous Republic, the National Central Bureau of Interpol, the Regional Counterintelligence Main Division of Guria and Adjara A/R State Security Service as a result of joint activities detained in Batumi three citizens of Turkey wanted by Turkey Interpol under red notice, in particular: Vahdi Abdul S (DoB 1961), Attila A (DoB 1973) and Mehmet Ali I (DoB 1974).
Vahdi Abdul S is accused of the crime envisaged by the article 86 of the Criminal Code of Turkey, i.e. serious health injury; Attila A is accused of threatening to use a firearm – the crime envisaged by the article 106/2a.62 of the Criminal Code of Turkey while Mehmet Ali I is accused of fraud – the crime envisaged by the articles 157/1 and158/1 of the same Code.
At the moment pre-extradition procedures envisaged by law are underway.
